@Om, the view from the Kamakhya, went up there almost every month :)for the four years I was there!
And to remember that in July 2001, the first time I was crossing the Brahmaputra(time when it is maximum flooded) on a small ferry, those ones with a gen-set, and it stops in the middle of the river! Can u imagine! I was soooo S*** scared!!!

B'putra the mightiest river for me too. Looked like an ocean. No wonder the only Indian river named after a male!
@Bhaskar - thats what they say as well..Krishna and Brahmaputra are the only rivers in India which have a malish :) name :)
