Asiatic one horned rhino, earns many $$ to get itself protected. Wonder when shall we become so pricy like them, and make others pay $$$$ to keep us alive :) ?

It might've been a treat to watch him/her up close.
I'm planning to visit Kaziranga around March as I'm going to Guwahati anyway. I only hope that the plan materializes.

ha!that's a nice thought. kaziranga never been there. but i loooveee visiting wildlife sanctuaries. been to jim corbett, ranthambore and one near ooty -dont remember the name.
that will be the day when your kind is on the brink of extinction hehehehe then you will become pricey ... but hey each one of us is unique ...no clones so theoretically speaking each one of us is dear ....

Ha ha the hippo is showing his butt to you :) I saw a documentry on this animal and in one scene he starts chasing the camera guy and that was freaky, this 8 ton thing running after you !!!
@T: - sweety that's a rhino not hippo.. :) but yes when those dumb thing runs it feels like earthquake :)) specially if you are on a tree
